Career Prep/ PE/ Head Boys Basketball Coach

Southeastern High School • May 2022 - Present

Currently teach 9th grade Career Prep, along with 7th - 9th grade PE. I serve as the Head Boys Basketball Coach along with serving as the Asst. Golf Coach. I am over the strength and conditioning program for all athletes (male and female) with the exception of the football program. Competed in 3 straight area championships. 2025 2A Area 12 Champions. Competed in the Sweet Sixteen at Jacksonville State University in the 2025 Northeast Regional Tournament.

Middle School History/ Head Boys Basketball Coach • Cleveland High School • May 2020 - May 2022

Taught 7th grade Geography in the classroom setting as well as serving as a physical education instructor. Served as Head Boys Basketball Coach and Head Boys/Girls Golf Coach. Led Cleveland to back to back area championships, a Blount County Championship, and a Northeast Regional Appearance (JSU). Was named 2022 Blount County Coach of the year.

Career Prep Teacher/ Head Boys Basketball Coach • Ashville High School • May 2018 - May 2020

Taught Career Prep for all 9th grade students in the classroom setting. Served as Head Boys Basketball Coach and Head Boys/Girls Golf Coach. Led Ashville to their first area victory since December of 2016.

Psychology Teacher/ Asst Basketball Coach • Clay Chalkville High School • June 2017 – May 2018

Taught 4 periods of 10th – 12th grade students in the classroom setting. Assist the Varsity Boys basketball program with all aspects of running a successful program. Serve as Head Coach for the Junior Varsity boys basketball team. Led Clay Chalkville to a 2nd place regular season finish in 6A Area 12 play in 2018.

Assistant Men's Basketball Coach • Marion Military Institute • August 2013 – June 2017

Served as Assistant Men’s Basketball Coach, assisting in all aspects of running a nationally ranked Men’s Basketball program. This included but not limited to serving as head coach in his absence, planning practices, scouting games, breaking down film, study hall, recruiting, budgeting, spending, game day preparations, strength and conditioning, and classroom checks.
